Valerian LLC site rebuild
Valerian LLC is a Denver-based landscape architecture firm. Their existing website was functional, but dull and uninspired. They needed a redesign that would stand out from the landscape architecture crowd, while being fast, responsive and easy to maintain.
YellowDog’s team of talented designers leapt at the chance to flex their creative muscles. Multiple rounds of designs were reviewed and ultimately Valerian chose a bold, dark yet colorful design with angled blocks of color and topographic details. I stepped in and began bringing this to life using Elementor, Crocoblock JetEngine and custom code. Challenging aspects of this project were keeping elements contained in angled containers while still working well on tablet and mobile screens. Over 40 past projects were added with dynamic fields that show when filled and hide when the data doesn’t exist. Employees were added as a custom post type for easy maintenance by the client in the future.
Overall the client was thrilled with their new website, and has referred several of their colleagues to us for new sites of their own. I learned a ton while creating this and it was a fabulous result.
