Designer. Developer.
25 years in the making.

I started my career in 1998 as a graphic designer, graduating from the Colorado Institute of Art with a degree in Visual Communications. What followed were 20+ years of working with type, colour, layout, and brand — first in agency design, then across a decade in print production where I rose to Operations Manager, overseeing a team and more than $1M in annual output at YellowDog Denver.

In 2019 I made the move into web development, and it turned out to be the natural next step for someone who’d spent years thinking about how things look and why they work. I’ve spent the years since building responsive, accessible WordPress sites for agency clients — working in Timber/Twig, SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP, and bringing the same attention to craft and detail that I learned on the design side.

Today I work at Fireant Studios, where I build custom WordPress themes from design files, implement WCAG 2 accessibility standards, and QA everything carefully before it goes live. I care about the details — focus states, mobile behaviour, load performance, semantic markup — because good design doesn’t stop at the mockup.

I’m based in Colorado and have been my whole career.
